Epilogue

I’m tempted to parody the conclusion to a prepared address1 given by Bruce Rogers at Purdue and say:
Although the ‘I’ key of my keyboard and the ‘my’ macro of my editor haven’t given up the ghost yet, I’m sure you will agree that you’ve had enough of my rambling writing for one evening. Take a break and return tomorrow. For as I look round this Work In Progress once again, I am tempted to parody Frank Gelett Burgess’ Epilogue to his ‘Purple Cow’ and say:
Oh yes, I’m making this raft of pages,
Someday I’ll be sorry I med’em,
But I can tell you what, gadzooks!
I bet you haven’t read’em.
